The RSU1 instructional admin team at the August planning retreat. N23 Yoga ChromeBooks have arrived for students in RSU1. The Little Free Library was a project completed by the Morning Academy Program at Morse High School and Veterans from the Bath VWF Post. We worked side by side in the completion of this wonderful project and now the students at Dike Newell School can enjoy it everyday. Users are encouraged to take a book and/or leave a book. All books are donated and are free for the taking. Morse AP Environmental Science students conduct annual stream analysis in the tributaries that supply Bath's drinking water. This data is used as an ongoing analysis of stream health, and to give students practical knowledge of industry-standard field sampling techniques. Morse ninth grade students perform an intertidal transect study as part of their Ecology course work. Students perform a controlled sampling process in the intertidal zone, and return to the lab in order to analyze data and determine if the data supports or does not support their hypotheses about biodiversity in our local region.
