This letter is to inform you that Morse High School has decided to utilize drug sniffing dogs in the near future because of concerns related to drug possession, use, and distribution on school grounds. The school district is partnering with the Bath Police Department and Sagadahoc Sheriff's Office to bring a canine unit onto school grounds. This is a proactive effort to promote a safe and drug-free environment at our school.
Regional School Unit 1 is pleased to announce that we are implementing a new notification system in order to improve communication and community outreach. This notification system, called SchoolMessenger, will alert parents and students to school cancellations, delays, and emergencies, as well as upcoming events by phone, text message and email.
