The Mission of the PTSA is threefold:

  • To support and speak on behalf of children and youth
  • To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children
  • To encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation

How we do our work:
The PTSA upholds this mission by working in the home, in the school and in the community. We are NOT about bake sales and fundraising. We concentrate on advocacy for our children and families by sponsoring guest speakers, programs and activities. In recent meetings, we covered subjects such as local assessment of the Learning Results, transition to high school, and talking to your teens. This year, the sky is the limit and we can explore subjects that interest our membership!

When we meet:
Meetings are typically on the second Wednesday of each month (see meeting schedule for specific dates). Yearly membership dues are only $5 (see membership form link). Please send us your email address so we can add your name to our database and you can receive information about important school activities and issues.
